In 2001 he attended the Steinway technician training programme in Hamburg and is now one of the two certified Steinway trained technicians in New Zealand. Pascal has a strong involvement with the New Zealand Piano Tuners’ and Technicians’ Guild and has recently been involved in designing and organising an apprenticeship scheme for current and future apprentices. He has run practical classes and lectures at local workshops and at national and international piano tuners conventions.
