Our independent service is one of a kind in Australasia, offering excellent tuning and a large, fully-equipped workshop capable of carrying out every possible type of piano repair, from complete rebuilding including cabinet refinishing to minor upright repairs.
We recently completed a ten-year collaboration with sculptor Michael Parekowhai rebuilding He Korero Purakau mo Te Awanui o Te Motu, Story of a New Zealand River from soundboard to performance piano. The beautifully carved Steinway Concert Grand is the centrepiece of Michael's exhibition for the 2011 Venice Biennale - the world's oldest and most prestigious visual art exhibition.
